Hot New Release! I hate It How, Even Though I Love It When!
The American Vocal Academy and Gold Jacket Records has just released a terrific new artists. This past year, Kathleen Devaney has been tuning her talents in our Artist Development Program and working hard creating and developing her own original material. Her first release "I hate It How, Even Though I Love It When!" with lyrics and melody by Kathleen Devaney and Music by Jules Calella has just been released.
Kathleen wrote the song about a year ago while lying on her brothers bed trying to do her homework. Out of no where the melody and lyrics popped into her head and thus her journey began. She rushed to the computer to start writing down the lyrics and wrote the song in one sitting. At first it was
a bitter sweet project. The more she sang the song, the better it became but the memories that inspired her song, made her not want to sing it. But as we all know, time heals all and eventually the song came to be one of her favorites.
In November Kathleen brought her creation to the AVA to complete the process and release the song. With hard work and a terrific musical partner, Jules Calella; she now has a wonderful first release.
