Attention songwriters, artist and bands! American Songwriter Magazine has partnered with Cumberland University (located in Lebanon, TN, just outside of Nashville) to bring you "LIVE on the Lawn" 2010 - an eclectic new homecoming concert that will convene on the front lawn of Memorial Hall on Saturday, October 2nd, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Expected attendance 1500 people or more.
There will be 5 acts performing, ranging from singer/songwriters to bands of various genres to a nationally-recognized headliner, and one of these slots could be YOURS! The American Songwriter staff, in conjunction with the American Songspace A&R Department, is booking talent for the event.
HERE'S WHERE YOU COME IN! Tennessee residents are invited to ENTER THIS CONTEST for the chance to win the 2nd slot on the "LIVE on the Lawn" bill. The concert will benefit Cumberland University's Arts Department (including the school's new & unique Songwriting Program) and the Annual Fund. Artists and bands from all genres of music are welcomed to enter. We hope to see you in Lebanon this fall!
How to enter:
Each artist/band can enter one or more songs thru the following submission process.
Fee: Yes
$10 to enter your song into the "Live on the Lawn" contest.
Prizes:
You'll be one of the four acts opening for the TBA nationally-known "LIVE on the Lawn" headliner. Great promotion & exposure for you or your band. The opportunity to play for more than 1,500 music fans.
