About This Opportunity
GET THE WORD OUT SUMMERFEST brings together over 70 renowned and emerging performers and 90 juried arts and crafts vendors at the beautiful Philadelphia Park and Living Arts Center. The two day family-oriented festival offers continuous music from 11am to 9pm on two stages; the 500 seat "Custom House Stage" and the intimant 55 seat "Meet the Performer" area.
There will be 10 slots guaranteed to ReverbNation artists who submit their RPK.

Smoke and Sand Showcase will take place at Rusty Spur's which is located right in the middle of all the music week action in Austin, TX on Saturday March 19th.

The Smoke and Sand Showcase will feature 10 bands on 2 stages (1,000 person capacity). This is an exceptional opportunity for artists/bands. There will be a platinum recording artist headlining and there will be music industry professionals and press from all over the globe attending this showcase making it one of the premier events that will be taking place in Austin Texas during music week.

This Invite Serves Three Purposes: The NMS has guaranteed a performance slot to an artist submitting their RPK. This artist is not necessarily guaranteed to be part of the "Artist on the Verge (AOV) Contest" explained below. This guaranteed performance slot will be at The Roxy, Tuesday, February 15th at 9:00 pm for 25 minutes as part of the New Music Seminar. NMS is looking to expose the Top 100 "Artists on the Verge (AOV)" by announcing these artists/bands during Grammy Week. From this Top 100 AOV, NMS will then choose the Top 3 to come to Los Angeles and perform at the famed Roxy on Sunset Blvd. on Tuesday, February 15th in front of A&R, agents, managers, labels, CEO’s of the biggest tech companies, ad agencies and licensing companies.
